Day 2 as expected I am feeling like I got hit by a Mack Truck. Not sure if it is just allergies or my body getting rid of Toxins. I started the morning with no headache Yay! I am here at work munching on my smoked Ham and Green Tea . It is 8:45 and I have already eaten 2 Hardboiled eggs and Ham and I am still hungry I am going to try to push till 10 till I have another snack, Well I noticed I am eating a lot more today which is good because yesterday my Calories were on the low side anyways (I know I am not supposed to be county calories but hey old habits die hard) Do you know what I hate the fact that in December the people at my Job think it is Fantastic to bring up tons of fatting Yummy Snacks, right now directly across from my office is a Rosa’s Salsa, guacamole, Queso Fiesta Platter. This is cruel and unusual punishment for me. But then again who starts a Diet on the Holidays? As I am sure you can see above I did not cheat LOL Day 2 shouldn’t be this hard

Sexy Bitch Mode!

My sister (read her blog its great http://mikahaela.wordpress.com) just
came back from her 10 year class reunion in our home town. I missed mine because while there are lots of
classmates I truly would like to see again, most I don’t. There is a reason for this I never really
knew who I was in high school, I tried to fit in with so many people and never
really did. Partially because I guess it
took me becoming an adult to figure out I didn’t have to try to be like other
people I just had to be me and I am just not a Clique type of girl. In a group
it is just to hard to please everybody.
Somebody always gets hurt. The
harder you try to please in a group the better you fail. Unavoidably the stress
of trying so desperately and failing so miserably always caused me to
implode. I would lose my temper with
people who never deserved it. I’d cry
for no good reason (o.k. I still do that) I get caught in a vicious cycle
fueled by unrealistic expectations of myself.
I can’t be everything to everyone I have tried that and failed.

For me its about individuals. I find individuals make me happy certain
people I bond with for whatever reason.
My friends are few and far between there a few from my younger days who I
stay in touch with and still miss and think about all the time. There are the friends I have now as an adult
the ones you kind of know are going to be around forever , they come to my kids
activities we eat lunch once a week, talk daily or weekly . The funny thing is if you lumped them all
into a group the only thing they probably have in common is the fact that they
are my friends.

But to those few people in my life that really matter I
Promise I can always be there! You are my clique and it’s great to grow
up. When we grow up we get better!

Cheers to Good Friends old and New!

Ever been brought to tears by a 10 Year old? Ever had a doughnut thrown at you (Ok maybe not at me but in my vicinity) Today has been one of those days Baseball Boy has morphed into one of the Kids from Children of the Corn! It all started last week with a progress report with a 76 on it. All A’s and one lonely 76, so I thought to myself I really need to get high behind this and contacted his teachers. Well it turns out He has 24 Science Words he is supposed to have memorized over the last 3 weeks, and Spelling and Challenge Words along with the regular math worksheet that is brought home. Needless to say this was not being done so like any good Mother I made a list of things for him to do this week to prepare him for his Friday Test:

• Writing each spelling word 100 times (maybe just 10)

• Writing the Definition of the Word out of the Dictionary over and over (I’m pretty sure at 10 I knew how to use the dictionary)

• I made him flash Cards for his Science words so I could quiz him on them

Needless to say the past couple of nights we have been doing about 2.5 hours of homework. By we I mean me and him and for the record I never remember my parents doing homework for 2 hours with me. If I had a question I asked, they helped but for the most part. My Homework was my responsibility. To top it off he has a Shitty attitude when I try to help him he argues with me, kind of like he is smarter than me. Goes something like this:

Me: Well I’m not sure

BB: Mom aren’t you educated?

Me: Apparently not I don’t know how to do this. Didn’t you pay attention in School today? I wasn’t At school today.

Or When I do know the answer

Me: <insert explanation>

BB: No mom that’s not how we do it in school

Me: Do you want my help or not

BB: Yes

Me: Well then do it like I said and Shut up!

So Baseball boy hates me yes Hates he thinks I am the anti-Christ and glares evilly at me every chance he gets. I know this too shall pass The X-Box controllers, I pad and T.V has been removed. Anyone out there have any tips for dealing with 10 Years old attitudes that don’t include <del>Beating with a large stick and locking in room</del> Spanking? Or<del> drowning myself in a bottle of Vodka </del>Going Crazy?

Lots of People call me because they want to know if they are
getting a Good deal. Remember the best
deal always comes from me because that’s how I roll. No reason why we can’t all make a little
money here. But for those land owners
out there who want to make sure their division order is right. Here are some Calculations to help.

Leasehold- When someone buys an OG & ML they are said to
own the “leasehold” interest in this tract.
This means they have the rights granted under the lease to drill,
develop, pool, produce, etc the well.

Royalty Interest- The interest retained by the mineral owner
is called the “Royalty Interest”. This
is Fraction you see stated of lease. (We
should get into calculating those but that deserves a post of its own)

Working Interest- the Working Interest or Working Interest
Partners are responsible for all costs involved in exploring for, drilling, and
completing a well.

Net Revenue Interest- The revenue interest of the Working
Interest Partners is usually referred to as Net Revenue Interest and Represents
the revenue attributable to the Working Interest owners share of the Well less
his burden (which is his part of the royalty Interest and Overriding Royalty
Interest)

How these things are calculated Lets look closer:

You have 640 Acre Section:

Company A has 512
Acres

Company B has 128
Acres

So Working Interest
is Calculated by Net Acres/Unit Size (assume you are drilling a gas Well which
hold 640 acres and your lease is pooled:

Company A (512/640) .800000000

Company B (128/640) .200000000

Total WI 1.00000000

I always go out 8 Decimal Places and you should
always come out to 100% all the way out 1.00000001 is not right do your math
again

Royalty Interest (These
are the Mineral Owners):

Joe Schmo 1/5
of 320/640 acres .10000000

Joe Smith 1/8
of 192/640 Acres .03750000

Joe Sanchez ¼ of
128/640 Acres .05000000

Lest assume there are 3 Lease Joe Schmo owns 320
Acres Leased to Company A with a 1/5 Royalty or 20%. Joe Smith owns 192 acres Leased to Company A
with 1/8 Royalty, and Joe Sanchez leased his 128 Acres to Company B with ¼ Royalty. All calculations are based on each lessor’s
contribution to the unit and their fractional Revenue interest in the
Tract. ( Royalty X Acres Contributed/
Unit Size)

Revenue Interest

Company A

4/5 of 320/640 (Joe Schmo Lease) .40000000

7/8 of 192/640 (Joe Smith Lease) .26250000

Company B

¾ of 128/640 (Joe Sanchez) .15000000

This is assuming no companies assigned out an Overriding
Royalty to their landman or Geologist (Shame on you) but if they had here is
that Scenario

Company B assigns a .05% ORRI to Me YAY

¾ of 128/640 Less ORRI of .05 of 128/640 .150000000 -
.01000000= .14000000

So you’re Deck Looks like This:

Company A .66250000

Company B .14000000

Me .01000000

Joe Schmo .10000000

Joe Smith .03750000

Joe Sanchez .05000000

Total 1.00000000

That ladies and Gentlemen is how it’s done now imagine this
you have 5 Companies and 125 Mineral Owners some with only ½ an acre. And I haven’t even touched the NPRI (Non Participating
Royalty Interest) subject because it gives me nightmares and sends me straight
to the liquor cabinet.

Happy Wednesday Everyone.

Discovery News reports the local government feels the move is necessary because West Texas is suffering a terrible drought, receiving 0.1 inches of rain over the past several months.

ENERGY IN DEPTH RESPONDS: Greens Beg President Obama to Ignore the Facts on HF (08.August.2011) If a fact-free letter requesting a ban on American energy production falls on the President’s desk, does it make a difference? We’re about to find out. An assortment of “green” groups, writing allegedly on “behalf of Americans who live in every US state and territory,” have written directly to the President to “employ any legal means to put a halt to hydraulic fracturing.” Signers include political heavyweights like Kids for Saving Earth, the anti-energy website DeSmogBlog, and a group that opposes the construction of a cement plant in North Carolina. We at EID recognize that the President is very busy this week, especially with Friday’s news about the first downgrade to the country’s credit rating in U.S. history. To help him and everyone else out, we read through every last detail of the letter so no one else has to. We also decided to add something that was painfully absent: facts. CLAIM 1: Hydraulic fracturing is a “dangerous method of natural gas exploration” that should be banned “until and unless the environmental and health impacts of this process are well understood and the public is adequately protected.” REALITY: Unsurprisingly, the first whopper comes in the very first paragraph. Despite repeated claims to the contrary in this letter, hydraulic fracturing is actually a well-known procedure that has been used over one million times since the 1940s. Its health impacts — or, rather, the lack thereof — have been studied vigorously by federal officials inside the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy, as well as by state regulators with the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission and the Ground Water Protection Council. In 1995, then-EPA administrator Carol Browner (who later became President Obama’s “energy czar” and is now with the left-leaning Center for American Progress) wrote a letter confirming that, after repeated tests in Alabama, there was no connection between hydraulic fracturing and water contamination. CLAIM 2: “Despite its obvious hazards, regulation necessary to ensure that fracking does not endanger our nation’s water supply has not kept pace with its rapid and increasing use by the oil and gas industry.” REALITY: Hydraulic fracturing is tightly regulated by the states and has been for decades, and state regulators consistently affirm that stringent regulations already in place guarantee safety. In addition to state regulations, simple geology protects drinking water supplies in a well that is hydraulically fractured. The water table is usually a few hundred feet below the surface, whereas the location where fracturing actually takes place is several thousand feet below that. Separating the fracturing site and the water table is often more than a mile of water tight rock. In order to reach potable water, fracturing fluids would not only have to defy gravity, but also navigate upwards through layer after layer of impenetrable rock. This is why Colorado’s Democratic governor John Hickenlooper, who has a background in petroleum geology, recently said it was “inconceivable” that fracturing would contaminate water because ”hydraulic fracturing doesn’t connect to the groundwater.” CLAIM 3: “To date, fracking has resulted in over 1,000 documented cases of groundwater contamination across the county [sic], either through the leaking of fracking fluids and methane into groundwater, or by above ground spills of contaminated and often radioactive wastewater from fracking operations.” REALITY: The reference for the “1,000 documented cases” claim is an article by ProPublica from three years ago. That article, of course, directly contradicts the science-based conclusions of numerous regulators and experts, including the Association of American State Geologists, whose president said in 2009: “There have been no documented cases of drinking water contamination that has resulted from hydraulic fracturing.” In addition, Scott Kell, President of the Ground Water Protection Council, testified before Congress in 2009 and specifically took on the “1,000 documented cases” claim. Here’s what he said: “In recent months, the states have become aware of press reports and websites alleging that six states have documented over one thousand incidents of ground water contamination resulting from the practice of hydraulic fracturing. Such reports are not accurate.” (GWPC testimony to Congress, June 4, 2009) (The IOGCC actually maintains a comprehensive list of state regulators and officials directly rebutting the claim about groundwater contamination.) Even the greens’ favorite EPA administrator, Lisa Jackson, said recently that hydraulic fracturing doesn’t affect water. This follows a 2004 study by the EPA that found no connection between fracturing and water contamination. As for methane concentrations in groundwater, this occurs in one of two ways: (1) poor well casing, which is an issue that is completely unrelated to hydraulic fracturing, and/or (2) naturally-occurring methane, which is more often than not the real culprit. In fact, in the signature scene in the movie Gasland, a man in Colorado lights his tap on fire, something that the producer Josh Fox attributes to methane in the water due to hydraulic fracturing. Colorado regulators, however, investigated the incident and determined conclusively that the methane was unrelated to any drilling activity. How is this the case? Water tables often sit above rock layers that have quantities of methane. Over time, because methane is lighter than air, it seeps upward and into the water. Even a recent study from researchers at Duke University – widely reported as “proving” the connection between gas production and methane contamination — found quantities of methane in Pennsylvania water wells where no natural gas drilling was taking place. CLAIM 4: “EPA has convened an effort to study the impacts of fracking on drinking water. The first phase will end by 2012, but this study will take several years to complete. By this time, even more of the nation’s drinking water may become contaminated by fracking.” REALITY: Claiming that “even more” water will be contamined presupposes that existing water supplies have been contaminated, a claim that is 100% untrue. If we sound like a broken record, it’s only because this tired claim about drinking water contamination is repeated over and over and over. But for the sake of consistency, here we go again: Hydraulic fracturing has been used more than one million times without a single confirmed case of drinking water contamination. The fact that their ace in the hole here is a tautology – water “may” become contaminated in the future — speaks volumes about the overall lack of credibility. CLAIM 5: “Even if we fully understood all of the environmental and public health impacts of fracking, federal regulations do not currently manage, mitigate, and reduce these impacts. The lack of federal protections, combined with the current level and predicted increase of this activity, pose extreme and unnecessary risks to public health and the environment.” REALITY: Making baseless claims is much easier than entering search terms into Google, a point confirmed by the fact that existing federal regulations already apply to hydraulic fracturing. In addition to adhering to these federal laws, stringent state regulations also apply to hydraulic fracturing. Instead of studying environmental justice and poetry in college, the authors of this letter would have been more informed about why this is the case had they taken a single geology or physical geography course. The rock formations underlying Wyoming differ from those in Pennsylvania, and Michigan’s geology is considerably different from Louisiana’s. Thus, an EPA-based, one-size-fits-all federal approach would actually increase risks by removing the flexibility of state regulators to apply tight standards that align with reality instead of ideology. The fact that there are no confirmed cases of drinking water contamination from hydraulic fracturing is proof that the lack of federal regulation does not “pose extreme and unnecessary risks.” The truth is actually the exact opposite. CLAIM 6: “Because [hydraulic fracturing] is poisoning people, we ask that you take the steps to stop it.” REALITY: Perhaps fittingly, there is no evidence to back up the claim that hydraulic fracturing is “poisoning people,” likely because what’s written on a unicorn’s back or along the rim of the leprechaun’s pot of gold isn’t typically admissible as evidence. Unfortunately, this is typical of the types of claims against hydraulic fracturing: hyperbole without evidence. Just for fun, though, let’s reiterate a few important facts, not the least of which is that 99.5% of the mixture is water and sand. The remaining 0.5% of hydraulic fracturing fluids is a mixture of ingredients often found in cleaners under the kitchen sink. Other components include guar gum and citric acid, which are commonly found in ice cream and fruit juices, respectively. Many of the chemicals are used to prevent bacteria growth inside the drill pipe, growth that would otherwise contribute to rust and, ultimately, loss of structural integrity. Many of these ingredients remain in the water tight formations thousands of feet below the surface, but others that return to the surface are safely contained, processed, and then disposed of in accordance with all applicable regulations. Much of the water used is now also being recycled, especially in Pennsylvania where many areas are reusing about 80% of the water used in hydraulic fracturing. A final observation about the letter: the groups always place quotes around the word “natural” when they refer to natural gas. Given the lack of scientific basis for most if not all of the claims contained in their request, it’s perhaps fitting that they would suggest natural gas — which develops underground, ahem, naturally – is not actually natural.

August 8, 2011

President Barack Obama

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue

Washington, DC

Dear Mr. President:

On behalf of Americans who live in every US state and territory, we urge that you employ any legal means to put a halt to hydraulic fracturing (“fracking”), a highly controversial and dangerous method of “natural” gas exploration, until and unless the environmental and health impacts of this process are well understood and the public is adequately protected.

Fracking involves shooting millions of gallons of water laced with carcinogenic chemicals deep underground to break apart rock to release trapped gas. Despite its obvious hazards, regulation necessary to ensure that fracking does not endanger our nation’s water supply has not kept pace with its rapid and increasing use by the oil and gas industry.

To date, fracking has resulted in over 1,000 documented cases1 of groundwater contamination across the county, either through the leaking of fracking fluids and methane into groundwater, or by above ground spills of contaminated and often radioactive wastewater from fracking operations. Rivers and lakes are also being contaminated with the release of insufficiently treated waste water recovered from fracking operations. In addition, fracking typically results in the release of significant quantities of methane – a potent greenhouse gas – into the atmosphere despite the availability of cost-effective containment measures.

We acknowledge the steps your administration has taken to address fracking. However, much more needs to be done. For example, EPA has convened an effort to study the impacts of fracking on drinking water. The first phase will end by 2012, but this study will take several years to complete. By this time, even more of the nation’s drinking water may become contaminated by fracking. In addition, the EPA study will not include an analysis of the efficacy of the existing regulatory framework to address fracking impacts. And while Secretary Chu has assembled a committee to recommend and identify best practices to improve safety and environmental performance of fracking, best practices, assuming they are even implemented, can of course not in themselves provide adequate protection from risks that are admittedly not even yet fully known.

Even if we fully understood all of the environmental and public health impacts of fracking, federal regulations do not currently manage, mitigate, and reduce these impacts. The lack of federal protections, combined with the current level and predicted increase of this activity, pose extreme and unnecessary risks to public health the environment. We urge you to protect the public through the following actions:

1) Place a moratorium on issuance of federal permits required for fracking. Restrictions or moratoria of various types have been instituted in several US cities, the Province of Quebec, and the entirety of France and Australia. A moratorium should be placed on fracking in the United States until:

•sufficient studies, including EPA’s study of fracking impacts on groundwater resources, have been conducted to allow informed decisionmaking on the full environmental and health impacts of fracking

•measures are put in place to minimize and fully mitigate any such impacts, including impacts to water quality, air quality, and global warming from unnecessary release of methane emissions

•Section 322 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 is repealed to remove the exemption of hydraulic fracking from the Safe Drinking Water Act

2) Lead an open and honest public dialogue about the role of “natural” gas in our energy future. Touted as a “bridge fuel,” it is a bridge to nowhere unless, in light of a full accounting of direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions as well as impact on water quality and supply, “natural” gas can be demonstrated to be better than other fossil fuels. Furthermore, as Fatih Birol, chief economist of the International Energy Agency warned recently, investments in “natural” gas will only delay the necessary transition away from fossil fuels and detract from important investments in efficiency as well as permanent energy sources like wind, solar, wave, and geothermal.

Mr. President, last March you said regarding fracking: “we’ve got to make sure that if we’re going to do it, we do it in a way that doesn’t poison people.” Because it is poisoning people, we ask that you take the steps to stop it.

me stats about wrestlers and when Dust Rhodes beat whoever! And I Lost it Yep I blew my Top I said

go home watch love in the wild and go to bed o.k.” On the way out of the restaurant He told me I hurt

his feelings because I said I don’t care about wresting. He told me I am always mad. I felt really bad but as

I lay in bed last night I thought.

You know why I so damn bat crazy mad? Because I have been telling my son to pick up his clothes, put his

dish in the sink; don’t leave the water bottles in the room for Ten years. Ten years. And I had it. JUST DO

WHAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO DO FOR PETES SAKE! Don’t you know everything is not about you? I am stressed
out about other stuff like my Job, bills, my allergies and that faucet won’t stop leaking even though the plumber has come three god damn times. the fact that my Husband want surround sound in the living room is the yard guy scheduled. Some of this anger

gets misdirected yes it does. Just this morning, I spent 20 minutes yelling at my husband about the way he brews coffee when I was really upset about my daughters not putting on the clothes I wanted her to wear.

Is it that bad that for one dinner I don’t want to talk about Wrestlers, or Yo Gabba Gabba, or Hello Kitty, or
anything!

Let me know does everyone get like this how do you handle it? Have the happy pills quit working or is it the stress of the
recent move?
